After working in the financial field as a stock broker’s assistant, Leanne Yanda began her career in the lending business. “I was introduced to the business by a former stockbroker friend while living in San Diego,” Yanda explains. “I’ve never looked back, and that was 36 years ago.”

Vice president of mortgage lending with Guaranteed Rate Affinity, Yanda specializes in FHA, VA and conventional loans. She also assists with investment properties and represents first-time home buyers throughout Seattle. Recognized for her patience, excellent communication skills and attention to detail, Yanda works diligently to close loans for her clients. “I also help clients with their credit issues,” she adds. “I recently worked with a young client to repair her credit while getting her into a home with zero down.”

Referring to herself as a casual, laid-back person, Yanda takes her job very seriously. With her extensive experience and dedication, she continues to stand out in her field. “I have been through many economic cycles and changes in the real estate industry throughout the years,” she says. “I’ve been a Realtor and also owned my own mortgage brokerage for over 15 years, so I definitely know this business.”

Yanda is a board member of the Northwest Hope & Healing Foundation, an organization that supports people with breast and gynecological cancers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and also traveling.
