Seattle ranks as the No. 2 cleanest metropolitan area in the United States, according to a study from Oxi Fresh.
The cleaning brand analyzed factors like population density, the prevalence of pests like rodents and cockroaches, vandalism, litter, air quality and water quality.
Seattle’s ranking was due largely to the city’s litter cleanup initiatives, Oxi Fresh said. The metro area is also home to many well-maintained parks and green spaces, and has above-average air and water quality.
