It’s a good idea to start a career in Seattle, according to an analysis from Elevate Leadership.
The company examined affordability, employment opportunities, quality of life and more in the 50 largest cities in the U.S. and found that Seattle is the fourth-best place in the country to embark on a professional endeavor.
That’s mainly because the city boasts the fourth-highest average annual wage of any large city in the country, while also offering ample work-from-home opportunities and access to public transit for those who do need to commute. Plus, the city is one of the most inclusive in the country to immigrants, meaning career opportunities are plentiful for Americans and newcomers alike.
Furthermore, the Seattle job market offers an above-average work-life balance, with tons of options for indoor and outdoor entertainment and recreation, meaning professionals get to play just as hard as they work.
