Brad Hinckley, Managing Broker

Compass

After obtaining an MBA from Stanford and building a career in finance as a certified public accountant and executive for technology and media companies, Brad Hinckley found his true calling in real estate when he moved from New York City to Seattle in 2004. This early immersion in Seattle’s diverse neighborhoods was the start of his 21-year journey in the industry, offering a foundation for the expert market knowledge he provides to clients today.

Hinckley is known for his role as both advisor and advocate, offering candid, data-driven insights that empower clients to make confident decisions. He has built his business primarily through referrals, a testament to his thoughtful, client-first approach. With expertise in market preparation, negotiation, valuation and multiple-offer strategies, he consistently earns praise for being accessible, strategic and calm under pressure. From first-time buyers to luxury sellers, he ensures every client feels supported and informed.

Distinguishing himself in the Seattle market through results and recognition, Hinckley has appeared in the RealTrends Verified Agent Rankings, has been published in The Wall Street Journal every year since 2020 and was most recently ranked #40 in sales volume in 2024. He has also received repeated Best of Zillow honors, holds a managing broker license in Washington and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Northwest Multiple Listing Service and the Stanford Alumni Association.

Outside of real estate, Hinckley takes pride in being an empty nester, as both of his children are now thriving in college. His two small dogs help keep his home lively, and he enjoys traveling to larger cities such as New York and Paris during quieter months in the market. Whether advising clients on complex transactions or helping them prepare for their next chapter, he focuses on building lasting relationships.
